TOAST RACK SET inc A PAIR OF OAK 'TOAST-STYLE' BOARDS

This wooden toast rack has been made from larch with the insertion of six beech pegs to support two small oak “toast” boards. The creation of the rack has been loosely based on the Yakisugi style wood burning process & has been fibre-cleaned which produces a wonderful texture to the surface & edges of the rack, followed by the application of an orange food safe colour leaving a wonderful orange & black texture and appearance

Each small piece of “toast” has been made from kiln-dried Scottish oak with realistic burnt edges in the Yakisugi style giving an amazing texture to represent the crust

These very versatile boards will fit comfortably in any home and used at any time of the day whether it be for toast, sandwiches, teacakes, scones etc etc..

This set is finally finished off with Oak and Still Creations special application method and recipe of pure beeswax and mineral oil by submerging them in a warm bath of our beeswax conditioner, allowed to dry, buffed up & repeated and finally buffed again to a high end finish

For the after-care of this toast rack set we would highly recommend the purchase of Oak and Still Creations wax conditioner & applying a small amount from the tin, rubbing into the surface with a lint-free cloth. For everyday cleaning, simply wipe the surface down with a clean, damp cloth. Dry straight away after cleaning
