DECORATIVE MINI OAK HALF BARREL DISPLAY PLINTH

These “wee cracker” oak half barrel display plinths make an ideal gift or indeed treat yourself for displaying miniature bottles of Whisky, Vodka, Gin, Rum etc. in a unique and novel way

The half barrel has been hand wood-turned from kiln-dried Scottish oak with two burned grooves to represent barrel hoops, and a recessed area (approx. 40mm diameter) on the top to display your miniature bottles or small ornament

Please note – the mini half barrel shown in this listing is not the actual one you will receive as it is for our photographic purposes. However you will receive one of the same sizing as listed, but the wood grain & the burning will vary to a degree

Sanded to a very fine grade and when finishing products have been applied, have made these mini half barrels extremely tactile

Finally finished off with Oak and Still Creations special application method and recipe of pure beeswax and mineral oil by submerging it in a warm bath of our beeswax conditioner, allowed to dry, buffed up & repeated and finally buffed again to a high end finish

For the after-care of this plinth we would highly recommend the purchase of Oak and Still Creations wax conditioner & applying a small amount from the tin, rubbing into the surface with a lint-free cloth.
