'ROCKY OUTCROP' OAK BURR DISPLAY PLINTH - TRUE TO NATURE

This stunning kiln-dried oak burr display plinth (including a miniature hand-turned decorative oak barrel filled with malted barley grains) showcases the wood’s natural “True to Nature” beauty and has a complete natural live-edge all the way around displaying the most amazing undulating flow lines which took several hours to reveal and accentuate but has been very worthwhile, and represents a 'Rocky Outcrop'

Moving on to describe the top, we hope our pictures demonstrate its unique beauty, densely packed with cat’s paw, decorative grain, naturally occurring splits and its changing hue

Sanded to a very fine grade and when finishing products have been applied, has made this a very tactile piece, and would adorn any space within a home for example in a study, lounge, dining-room etc.

Although this plinth has been pictured with Whisky, it is also perfect for displaying your favourite bottle of Brandy, Cognac, Gin or Wine etc etc..

This 'True to Nature' plinth works with the natural character of the wood which we enhance and work with (no fillers in here folks)

This display plinth is finally finished off with Oak and Still Creations special application method and recipe of pure beeswax and mineral oil by submerging it in a warm bath of our beeswax conditioner, allowed to dry, buffed up & repeated and finally buffed again to a high end finish

This listing shows the actual item that you will receive as this display plinth is a one-off, as no two bits of wood grain are ever the same

For the after-care of this plinth we would highly recommend the purchase of Oak and Still Creations wax conditioner & applying a small amount from the tin, rubbing into the surface with a lint-free cloth.
