MINI OAK BARREL FOR MINIATURE BOTTLE OF ALCOHOL

We have designed & hand crafted these natty oak miniature barrels for containing miniature round bottles of alcohol such as Whisky, Bacardi, Vodka, Gin etc.

A great gift idea for all occasions – or simply treat yourself to display in your home

These barrels have been hand wood-turned in our workshop from kiln-dried Scottish oak, each with four burned grooves to represent barrel hoops, and a 38mm diameter hole has been bored through the centre approx 60mm deep to receive your miniature bottle

When selecting your barrel there is a choice of wooden bung, copper bung or brass bung (inserted on the outside of the barrel) for an authentic look

Rather than make this barrel out of one piece of oak, we decided to create it out of four individual choice pieces of oak – each with a different colouration & wood grain contributing to its overall interest

Please note – the mini barrel shown in this listing is not the actual one you will receive as it is for our photographic purposes. However you will receive one of the same sizing as listed, but the wood grain & the burning will vary to a degree

Sanded to a very fine grade and when finishing products have been applied, have made these barrels extremely tactile

Finally finished off with Oak and Still Creations special application method and recipe of pure beeswax and mineral oil by submerging it in a warm bath of our beeswax conditioner, allowed to dry, buffed up & repeated and finally buffed again to a high end finish

For the after-care of these mini barrels we would highly recommend the purchase of Oak and Still Creations wax conditioner & applying a small amount from the tin, rubbing into the surface with a lint-free cloth. Allow it to sit for 15-20 minutes then buff off with another lint-free cloth to a sheen. Can be purchased by clicking on the link: our beeswax conditioner
