OAK LIVE-EDGE CHOPPING BOARD

We are delighted to offer this impressive large chopping board (food safe) made from kiln-dried Scottish oak which boasts an amazing live-edge. We selected this beauty not only because of its blonde live-edge but more importantly because of the singular wood knot on the surface which has various splits running through it which we have filled with resin. This allows it to stand out showcasing its natural beauty

The warmth of this stunning chopping board would coordinate nicely in any style of kitchen and is very durable and “created to last a lifetime” if cared for properly

This chopping board is finally finished off with Oak and Still Creations special application method and recipe of pure beeswax and mineral oil by submerging it in a warm bath of our beeswax conditioner, allowed to dry, buffed up & repeated and finally buffed again to a high end finish

This listing shows the actual item that you will receive as this board is a one-off, as no two bits of wood grain are ever the same

For the after-care of this board we would highly recommend the purchase of Oak and Still Creations wax conditioner & applying a small amount from the tin, rubbing into the surface with a lint-free cloth. For everyday cleaning, simply wipe the surface down with a clean, damp cloth. Dry straight away after cleaning
