'THE ROCKY OUTCROP' DISPLAY PLINTH - TRUE TO NATURE
Only 1 in stock
Oh boy – what can we say about this stunning piece of kiln-dried Scottish oak which has been skilfully handcrafted to form a wonderful display plinth which we have decided to call 'The Rocky Outcrop'. We have taken great pleasure in creating this amazing centre piece for the lucky new owner’s home which will in turn create a unique warmth & character and of course a talking point with friends & family over your favourite tipple – whether it be Whisky, Brandy, Cognac, Gin or Wine etc etc..
This “True to Nature” plinth works with the natural character of the wood which we enhance and work with (no fillers in here folks)
Sanded to a very fine grade, when finishing products have been applied has made this a very tactile piece
This display plinth is finally finished off with Oak and Still Creations special application method and recipe of pure beeswax and mineral oil by submerging it in a warm bath of our beeswax conditioner, allowed to dry, buffed up & repeated and finally buffed again to a high end finish
Dimensions of plinth: approx 415mm at longest point x 160mm at widest point x 37mm thickness
This listing shows the actual item that you will receive as this display plinth is a one-off, as no two bits of wood grain are ever the same
For the after-care of these coasters we would highly recommend the purchase of Oak and Still Creations wax conditioner & applying a small amount from the tin, rubbing into the surface with a lint-free cloth. Allow to sit for 15-20 minutes then buff off with another lint-free cloth to a sheen. Can be purchased by clicking on this link: our beeswax conditioner
The underside has our company logo & six felt adhesive pads to protect your furniture
Please note- Whisky bottle, alcohol, Glencairn glass & water jug, brass cat & heather are not included
However by clicking on these links the Glencairn whisky glass & Glencairn water jug and the "Old Tom the Distillery Cat" solid brass ornament can be purchased separately (with 5 choices of cat postures) to compliment the overall display plinth. The cats also have a very small hole in them allowing a key ring to be put through or even as a pendant
